La Locanda di Corrado is a b&b located in the heart of Tuscany in Stabbia, a delightful village in the Borough of Cerreto Guidi, a Renaissance village in the province of Florence famous for the splendid Medici Villa which is part of the Unesco Heritage. Stabbia is therefore located in a typical Tuscan landscape, between Renaissance villas, residences of ancient noble families and rolling hills with sides populated by vineyards and olive groves.
From the windows of my Locanda you can enjoy an even more particular view: that of the Padule di Fucecchio, a marshy landscape that hosts an infinite variety of water birds and offers exceptional ideas for photography, birdwatching enthusiasts and for those wishing to hike. Around this naturalistic oasis in which we place ourselves with great pride, there are other enchanting tourist destinations such as Montecatini – historic spa center -, San Miniato – a village famous for truffles – and Vinci – birthplace of the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, in fact.
The splendid capitals of Tuscany such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca are all within a short distance and easily reachable by car. My b & b is in fact a typical starting point towards these cities both for tourists who want to visit Tuscany and for those who stay in the area for business reasons. Come and get to know our territory, we will be happy to host you.

La Locanda di Corrado, in order to allow its guests to better enjoy the experience of their stay, has entered into an agreement with the “Casa d’Africa” Restaurant-Pizzeria, which is located right in front of the b & b. “Africa” was the name of Corrado Benvenuti’s wife, in whose honor my beloved Locanda was named. “Casa d’Africa” offers large areas equipped with an indoor and outdoor restaurant, a relaxation area with swimming pool, sun lounger and umbrella rental and the special poolside bar service.

Ho soggiornato alla Locanda di Corrado in una delle camere insieme a mia moglie, è una location perfetta per rilassarsi in aperta campagna, torneremo sicuramente anche insieme alle nostre bambine, lo spazio per ospitarci tutti non manca! Vantaggioso avere davanti a pochi metri il ristorante e la piscina!
Abbiamo approfittato della vicinanza per visitare Vinci e andare un pò alle terme di Montecatini, le cose da fare non mancano! Benedetta è stata disponibilissima nell’accoglienza e nel fornirci tutte le informazioni necessarie sul territorio!

Ho trascorso una notte con il mio ragazzo in una delle camere private della locanda. Che dire, tutto perfetto!
La proprietaria Benedetta ci ha accolto meravigliosamente nella reception, illustrandoci città nelle vicinanze da poter visitare e consigliandoci ristoranti e caffè nei dintorni. Proprio di fronte alla casa c’è il loro ristorante con piatti ma soprattutto pizze deliziose!!
Sicuramente ci ritornerò quest’estate quando sarà aperta la piscina.

We had a great night at Benedetta’s place. She’s a very lovely host and gave us recommendations for restaurants and traveling. We ended up in the place next door: Casa d’Africa which has great party and food on Monday’s.
This is also where the pool is located – looked really nice but we had no time to use it.
The house and the apartments are newly renovated and everything is very clean and very nicely decorated.
